Project Info
For this project, we began by drill seeding 2.2 Acres of Native Grass Seed. We of course had to make sure we got a picture of Dreamcatcher in the back ground while we seeded.
After seeding, we sprayed hydro mulch over the top for two reasons. One, to keep the soil from eroding causing the seed to drift into clumps. Two, to keep moisture around the seeds, encouraging germination.
Why we loved this project:
- We were able to watch the day’s progress through Targhee’s webcams, and even took some cool before and after pictures.
- During hydromulching, Dallin and Frank put on their skis in honor of how Grand Targhee brings skiing into the hearts of many people.
- We know this project will be appreciated by many out door enthusiast for many generations.
